As usual I like your framing most of all, most of us would have automatically gone to a landscape format for the building, giving nothing or little of its relationship with its setting.

The place is listed on UNESCO's world heritage as 'Historic Villages of Shirakawa-go and Gokayama'.

Very nice black and white shot, love your photos. I like the details and the fog in this one, it is small but one can see details. Beautiful.
