This is such a wonderful capture of 'Old Japan'... the driver, blurry with trotting action, and the lady, very still and properly sitting with her old style umbrella, her cheek just peeking out with a reflection of where she is heading, her mind in thought to the road ahead. The contrast capture of the dark shadow on the patroness against the bright white of the driver is excellent! I can hear him running, the wheels turning on the street...
You are so lucky to live in such a culturally rich country! Please try to find more of these old images before they disappear. It will be all too quickly but you have a chance to save them for future generations! =)
