Very interesting, at first glance it looks like a carving in marble or some other stone. Then you realize that it is actually wood in black and white.

This wood carving is preserved in Shibamata Taishakuten Temple. The carving is a part of Buddhist stories.

Good tones and beautiful composition. I mentioned colour to you at one stage. I now realise, you are one of the few people to have consistentlt mastered black & white. The tones are always perfect. Beauty in simplicity.
