The figurine on the windowsill turned its round eyes to the traffic
Once upon a time, Tokoname was a city of ceramic industry. Of course, there are still many kilns here. But nowadays, the town is also a tourist attraction. There are many souvenir shops in the town, and they are trying to swallow up people who come from out of the town.
A dog figurine was placed on the window sill of such a souvenir shop. It sits quietly and watches the traffic with its eyes wide open, never getting tired of it. The ordinary day-to-day life is interesting to the dog. The dog reminded me that I had lost that sense of freshness a long time ago.
