A couple was crossing the bridge in Rikugien Garden
A large pond was set up in the center of the Rikugien Garden. And a bridge was built over the stream that flows into it. Walking along the path that goes around the garden, I came to the bridge.
Bridges, even the smallest ones, seem to connect one world to another. While I was thinking about this, a couple in kimono approached the bridge. They began to cross the bridge, chatting happily with each other. Maybe by the time they finished crossing the bridge, they would be a different couple than the one before.
